This program is funded by NSW Training Services, Department of Industry.
Trainers are experts in the field and are experienced plumbing contractors, guide apprentices through the course and provide individual attention to each student.
This nationally recognised qualification in plumbing is completed over three years in conjunction with 4 years on-the-job training.

Frequently asked questions.
What is your theory pass mark?
The theory pass mark is 100%. If students get answers incorrect they receive a tutorial notice and have 2 attempts, otherwise they go back and redo a full exam again.
Do you include roofing?
Yes we have the full traditional trade pathway which includes roofing for no extra cost to you.
Is your qualification the same as TAFE?
The qualification is a National Qualification and has the same base. MPA Training course however also includes the roof plumbing competencies for no additional cost. The qualification provides the competencies required by NSW Fair Trading for registration as a plumber.
Where are you?
The College is at 2 Percy Street Auburn NSW and has on-site parking or a short walk from the train station.
Do you have to be a member of the Master Plumbers Association to enrol apprentices?
No, you do however need to have a registered apprentice.
How often do apprentices attend the College?
Attendance is from 7.30am to 4.00pm 1 day a week for 38 weeks for 3 years.
Do you take School Based Apprentices (SBATs)?
Yes, we have funding under Smart and Skilled.
Do you only take new apprentices?
No, we can take any current apprentice and transition them into a suitable group in order to complete their training.
