Group Training provides a simple way for businesses to hire apprentices.

Group Training is an employment and training arrangement.

Master Plumbers Apprentices Limited (MPAL) acts as the primary employer to apprentices and places them with other businesses known as 'host trainers'.

MPAL arranges and monitors the on and off-the-job training (ie through a Registered Training Organisation or TAFE). MPAL's dedicated staff monitor the apprentice and provide support, pastoral care and advice for the host and the apprentice in training.

MPAL takes responsibility for all paperwork including wages, superannuation and other employee benefits. MPAL has a high level of committment to the Workplace health and the safety of apprentices.

MPAL also makes sure that the apprentice gets to experience the right type of work by moving them from one business to another when neccessary.
