Events

In order to ensure that members are up to date as much as possible, MPA offers regular and targeted events during each year.

MPA Branches

Branches meet on a regular basis and allows local members and guests to participate in discussion on current events, be addressed by manufacturers and suppliers or simply partake in a social evening.

Industry Dinner for Excellence

This Dinner is an annual event which recognises a series of awards for recognising industry participants.  This evening allows the Association to recognise long standing members and organisations who have enriched the industry over time.  There is also an award for Work Health and Safety and the premier award for the evening is the Gold Medal which recognises the leading Apprentice for Plumbing.

Trade Shows

Plumbing Industry Trade Shows are conducted in both the City of Sydney and Regional NSW.  This series of events gives suppliers, sponsors/manufacturers an opportunity to show new products to the industry and general public.  Particular benefit is for the companies to discuss in depth products with plumbing contractors, Council staff and plumbing professionals personally.

Clarrie Wymer Awards

This awards night is an opportunity to showcase the plumbers of the future.  The Patron of the Awards is the Govenor of NSW and awards are presented to a range of Apprentices in recognition of personal growth, educational excellence and all round practical expertise.

Golf days

A number of Branches conduct gold days during the year and this is an opportunity to recognise employees and industry colleagues in a social setting.  Industry has the opportunity to provide sponsorship as outlined in the sponsorship package. These days are a highlight of the industry calender and all are welcome.
