The first step is to attend a Safety and Consultation System Seminar!
The Master Plumbers Association of NSW under the WorkCover Assist program has developed the Master Plumbers Safety and Consultation System for the Plumbing Industry which will help your business understand and implement the new Consultation, Risk Management and Hazard Identification requirements of the New South Wales OH&S Act 2000 and OH&S Regulation 2001.

The legislation requires employers to comply with the new requirements relating to risk management and consultation procedures. Except small employers (with less than 20 employees) have until 1 September 2003 to implement these procedures.

These seminars will review the relevant legislation and most importantly equip participants with practical tools, strategies and techniques to effectively implement the new requirements in their workplace.

If your business has not formalised a mechanism to consult with your employees about OH&S matters, or has not identified and controlled all reasonably foreseeable hazards, then attending the seminar is a must.

The Master Plumbers Safety and Consultation System for the Plumbing Industry is funded through WorkCover Assist.
